Bangkok, 8 October 2025 – The Southeast Asia Esports Federation (SEA EF) has officially launched, bringing together 11 nations with a shared mission: to grow, support, and level up esports in Southeast Asia.

SEA EF will serve as the hub for collaboration across the region’s gaming ecosystem, working with publishers, tournament organizers, and educational institutions. By building strong foundations for grassroots communities, strengthening professional leagues, and creating clear pathways to international stages, the federation aims to unlock the full potential of esports in SEA.

Fresh from its very first Executive Board election, SEA EF is proud to introduce its newly elected leaders:

  • President – Do Viet Hung (Vietnam)
  • Vice President – Muhammad Naim Al Amin Bin Saharudin (Malaysia)
  • Vice President – Ng Chong Geng (Singapore)
  • Executive Board Member – Brian Lim (Philippines)
  • Executive Board Member – Camacho Ramos de Silva Pinto (Timor Leste)

Together, this team will lead the charge in shaping a vibrant future for Southeast Asian esports.

With its launch, SEA EF sets the stage for a new era of growth and collaboration, ensuring that Southeast Asia remains one of the most exciting regions in the world of esports.



ABOUT SGEA

The Singapore Esports Association (SGEA) is a member of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) and the national governing body for esports in Singapore. SGEA is a member of the Global Esports Federation (GEF).

SGEA was founded in 2018 to promote and facilitate the participation of Singapore in regional and international events and competitions in the area of esports excellence and to develop and promote esports.
