In support of the recent International Women’s Day, Singapore Esports Association (SGEA), together with the Global Esports Federation (GEF), will be supporting FSL’s Valorant esports event scheduled to take place on the 20th to 21st of March 2021.
As part of the GEF’s global #worldconnected seies 2021 initiative, the event will see 40 female teams across 8 countries compete to earn points for the FSL Valorant Circuit and a prize pool of $1000.
“FSL has been essential to creating opportunities for female esports athletes. We believe that FSL provides a great platform for women in esports to showcase their talent and skills, and develop them even further and are proud to be able to support them through the GEF’s global #worldconnected 2021 campaign,” said Joy Li, board member of Singapore Esports Association.
“FSL is Southeast Asia’s premier female gaming circuit which provides a platform for female gamers to engage, empower and elevate each other in order to create a path towards female representation in the top tier of esports,” said Tammy Tang, CEO of FSL.
“We are proud and honoured to be a part of GEF’s WCS21, and are excited to have the opportunity to showcase the women, who have been honing their skills within our safe community, on the world stage.”
